**$BURGERS** (the collection is called **BURGERS? by [Stonetoss](https://bitcoinobama.com/stonetoss)**) is a token and NFT hybrid on Ethereum by the cartoonist Stonetoss. It launched on Dec 14, 2024 as a spin-off of [Flurks](https://bitcoinobama.com/flurks), and Flurks holders could claim it for free. [Bitcoin Obama](https://bitcoinobama.com/) promoted the launch as part of his December 2024 Flurks shill and promised “the burger content” a few days later.[^1] The live tracker on this page shows the BURGERS? floor on OpenSea, because no DEX pool for the token has been found.

## The token

BURGERS? lives in a single Ethereum contract with a supply of 40,000,000. It works like the ERC-404 hybrids: holdings trade as fungible tokens and appear as burger NFTs.[^2][^3] The collection is on [OpenSea](https://opensea.io/collection/burgers-by-stonetoss) and [Scatter](https://scatter.art/c/burgers), and its X account is @burgersart.

## Launch and Bitcoin Obama (December 2024)

On Dec 13, 2024 Obama posted his Flurks shill, a day before the $BURGERS claim opened for Flurks holders.[^4][^5][^6] Replies picked up the meme, “Oh My God I Can't Believe How Much I Love $Burgers”.[^7]

At 1:56 AM CT on Dec 18, 2024 Obama posted: “Hello guys I will the burger content”.[^1] A fan answered “Burger the content, Brother Obama! Let's goooooo!”[^8]

This $BURGERS is not the “$burger” coin that CZAR mentioned in a post Obama retweeted in September 2024.[^9]
