**Matt Shea** ([@MattShea](https://x.com/MattShea)) is a Canadian YouTuber from Newfoundland and Labrador whose bio reads “i'm the battle cats guy. nothing I say is true.” His [YouTube channel](https://www.youtube.com/c/MattsheaTv/videos) is best known for videos about the mobile game The Battle Cats, whose maker PONOS ran a [MattShea Collaboration Event](https://battle-cats.fandom.com/wiki/MattShea_Collaboration_Event) in 2017. Since 2024 he has posted [HarryPotterObamaSonic10Inu](https://bitcoinobama.com/hpos10i) ($BITCOIN) memes on X, including a June 2024 joke about [Bitcoin Obama](https://bitcoinobama.com/), and he trades jokes with [Cryptoiscrack](https://bitcoinobama.com/cryptoiscrack).

## Relationship with Bitcoin Obama

On Jun 19, 2024 (CT), replying to a “Welcome #HarryPotterObamaSonic10Inu” image from 0xEmix0, he wrote “RIP Bitcoin Obama. Soon to be... someone else 🤧”[^1]. It is the only post of his found that names Bitcoin Obama, and no reply from Obama to him has been found.

## HarryPotterObamaSonic10Inu memes

From late 2024 he posted about the coin more often. On Nov 28, 2024 he wrote that “If you say anything about that Harry Potter Obama coin, all these blue red and yellow creatures just show up out of nowhere”[^2], meaning the [Sproto Gremlins](https://bitcoinobama.com/sprotogremlins) avatars of holders who answered him. Cryptoiscrack replied to him several times that week, and on Nov 30 told him that a [Sproto](https://bitcoinobama.com/lore#free-my-sproto) looked like [Morelight](https://bitcoinobama.com/morelight). Matt Shea followed with “3 things I think about EVERY single day”[^3] (Harry Potter, Obama and Sonic the Hedgehog) and, in 2025, gematria jokes in the community's style.[^4]
