**Rabbi Rothschild**, who uses the name Rabbi Michael “Moshe” Rothschild and the tag #ViralRabbi, is an internet personality who says he has streamed his life 24 hours a day, seven days a week, since 2021. He describes the project as a real-life “Truman Show” done “for world peace”. From 2023 he streamed for months in the voice chat of the [HarryPotterObamaSonic10Inu](https://bitcoinobama.com/hpos10i) ($BITCOIN) Telegram group, where holders adopted him as a mascot. In December 2023 he asked [Bitcoin Obama](https://bitcoinobama.com/) to sing Beatles songs on stream. His current X account is [@2XThot](https://x.com/2XThot); an earlier account, @viralrabbi, has been suspended.

## The 24/7 stream

Rothschild says he began streaming continuously during the COVID-19 pandemic. In an interview on the [Tinfoil Tales](https://exa.ai/library/podcast/1pfmcgrcdg0/episode/63233hfdkdd) podcast (July 2026) he said: “I stream my life 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year for world peace … My streams go back to the pandemic.” He runs many simultaneous streams, mostly on YouTube, where viewers find them by searching “Rabbi Rothschild” or #ViralRabbi and filtering by live. He also streams on [Rumble](https://rumble.com/c/c-5885013/about), where his channel, joined Mar 2, 2024, is titled “Rabbi Rothschild Streams Life 24/7 Guinness World Record”, and he hosts a Discord server.

His press releases make large claims about the project. A release dated October 2022, carried by [ABNewswire](https://www.abnewswire.com/pressreleases/lgbtq-rabbi-rothschild-viralrabbi-breaks-livestreaming-guinness-world-record-more-than-444-straight-days_620030.html) and [King Newswire](https://kingnewswire.com/chief-rabbi-rothschild-viralrabbi-breaks-guinness-world-record-for-live-streaming-24-7-for-444-straight-days/), called him “Chief Rabbi” and “King Of The Internet”. It said he had streamed for 444 straight days, had broken “the Guinness World Record for live streaming” and had “more content online than anyone in global history”. It also called him the “first legally non-binary Orthodox rabbi”. No Guinness World Records listing confirming the record has been found, so these remain his own claims. An April 2026 release on [PRLog](https://www.prlog.org/13140177-harrypotterobamasonic10inu-celebrates-world-record-1000-days-livestream-with-record-breaking-merchandise-launch.html) said he had streamed “for more than 1,000 days” as the “HarryPotterObamaSonic10Inu livestream”.

He has been interviewed on several podcasts about living online (see [Media appearances](#media)). But Why”). He also appeared on [Podcast UFO](https://podcastufo.com/show-notes/773-rabbi-michael-moshe-rothschild/) (show 773, Aug 6, 2026), whose notes describe him as “an Orthodox rabbi, Kabbalist, educator, public speaker, and digital content creator”.

## How he streams

**Devices.** Rothschild says the project began with equipment he bought for it during the pandemic. On *Tinfoil Tales* he said: “I bought some laptops and Chromebooks and tablets and iPhones and Android devices, you name it, put them around myself in 360 degrees, and created my first YouTube channel in fall of 2021.”[^1] At home he runs “my normal 33 or so different devices at any given time”[^1], each pointed at him from a different angle. On *The Eye of Jupiter Podcast* he described broadcasting “from as many as 25 simultaneous YouTube streams. So you can view my life in 360 degrees. I eat on camera. I sleep on camera.”[^2] His [PRLog business profile](https://biz.prlog.org/RabbiRothschild/) gives the figure as “more than 20 simultaneous YouTube streams”. He also keeps a radio playing around the clock, so his recordings capture the news as well as his own life: “24 hours a day, I keep a radio on in the background.”[^1]

**Streaming away from home.** When he goes out, he cuts down to “perhaps one or two iPhones that I generally use, uh, using data”. He backs these up with a GoPro worn on his chest or held on a selfie stick “in case I run into a low cell signal area or I do experience an app crash”[^1]. He lists battery life, cellular throttling, overheating, glare and app crashes as the main problems. He says he has streamed “as far north as Santa Barbara, as far south as San Diego”, including in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles and at Disneyland.

**Platforms and accounts.** He sends the same life to many apps at once. “I multi-stream. So right now I'm live on over a dozen Twitch accounts. I'm live on Rumble accounts. I'm live on Twitter. You name it. Essentially, if you can live stream there, I'm doing so.”[^2] In the same interview he claimed “over 100 YouTube accounts, over 200 Instagram accounts, over 500 Twitch accounts, over 1,000 TikTok accounts, over 2,000 Twitter accounts, over 5,000 Blue Sky accounts, and over 10,000 Kik accounts”. These figures are his own and have not been verified. His June 2026 [press release](https://www.openpr.com/news/4543600/rabbi-rothschild-surpasses-1-700-days-of-continuous-livestream), marking more than 1,700 archived days, lists simulcasts to YouTube, Rumble, Kick, Twitch, Nimo TV, Locals and X. Viewers can also stay with him around the clock in his Discord server, where he says some members have lived “24 hours a day” alongside him for over a year. He says he does not take donations.

**Bans.** Running so many accounts has cost him several of them. Two of his X accounts, @viralrabbi and @ViralRabbi1, are suspended (see [Accounts](#accounts)). In August 2026 he said Rumble had banned his account “without an answer … I received 0 warnings”[^3]. He added: “I streamed 2+ years 24/7 on your platform. I never received a strike.”[^4] On Oct 18, 2026 (CT) he asked YouTube to restore his @Chabadology channel: “your AI keeps flagging my account … I have won my appeals twice. Please turn my livestreaming back on.”[^5] He repeated the request to @TeamYouTube many times over the next day.

## The HarryPotterObamaSonic10Inu Telegram

By September 2023 Rothschild was streaming in the voice chat (VC) of the HarryPotterObamaSonic10Inu Telegram group, often while asleep. [Nigerian Phil](https://bitcoinobama.com/nigerianphil) called him “our 24 hour live streaming superman”[^6] that month. In December 2023 a holder wrote “you can watch rabbi sleeping in his sproto snuggies every single fucking day. this is THE best utility out there”[^7]. The [Sproto](https://bitcoinobama.com/lore#free-my-sproto), the coin's blue mascot, appears on his pillows and bedding in screenshots from the stream.

The joke spread beyond the chat. In February 2024 Futuretrashy wrote “Join the HPOS10I telegram But don't join the VC unless you want to be turned into a viral rabbi”[^8]. Virtuagram told outsiders to “go say hi to him in the telegram vc” and later thanked a podcaster for interviewing him: “he's been streaming in our telegram for over a year, and we love him dearly … we are but a dream of the rabbi”[^9]. A list of the community's achievements that [Fat Head Dave](https://bitcoinobama.com/fatheaddave) posted in September 2026 includes “Jewish Rabbi for months in our VC holding a WR streaming”[^10].

## Relationship with Bitcoin Obama

On Dec 28, 2023 (CT), oldmanwithcoin posted a clip from the stream: “good stuff today, @viralrabbi asked @BitcoinObama to sing some Beatles songs 🙏 not sure i've heard this particular one before, but it's a real foot-tapper”[^11]. In February 2024 SusaEJordan recalled it: “a Rabbi will sneak into your life, and an old man, with coins, who knows a guy named Bitcoin Obama will prophesy that they will sing a Beatles song together”[^12]. No post by Obama himself naming the rabbi has been found.

## Later years (2025–2026)

After @viralrabbi was suspended, Rothschild posted from [@2XThot](https://x.com/2XThot), created in February 2025, with the display name “❤️Rabbi Rothschild”[^3]. In November 2025 he wrote “#HPOS10I PLEASE FOLLOW ME”[^13]. In 2026 holders still treated him as part of the coin's lore. [Morelight](https://bitcoinobama.com/morelight) wrote “Thank you rabbi!!”, the long “Thank you Mr powerful” thank-you list of November 2025 included “Rabbi Rothschild”, and virtuagram advised another trader to consult “the viralrabbi … he's always live 24/7 365 everywhere including in the hpos10i telegram”. On Sep 3, 2026 Fat Head Dave announced “Me and @2XThot will be collaborating on something beautiful some time soon. $BITCOIN”[^14]. In August 2026 Rothschild wrote that he had “streamed my life on Rumble 24/7/365 for years” and that “My account was banned”.

## Beliefs and futurism

Rothschild calls himself a futurist and a transhumanist as well as a rabbi. Asked what futurism is on [*The Eye of Jupiter Podcast*](https://exa.ai/library/podcast/xjc6rnpr543/episode/w6xdb25nnr0) (episode 130, July 2026), he said: “it's a study of the future, just like we have a story into study the past, there are futurists and I include myself in this group of people.” He listed the topics he enjoys discussing as “anti gravity, faster than light travel … telepathy, telekinesis, teleportation, things like space tourism, space elevators, terraforming of other planets”, interstellar travel and “Santa Claus machines”, Star Trek-style replicators. He also discussed de-extinction, including the woolly mammoth plans of Colossal Biosciences.

**Life extension and transhumanism.** In the same interview he said he wants to give people the means to extend average life expectancy “from age 80 to age 100 to 120”, through therapies from stem cells and peptides to cryonics, and that people who decline “would be considered probably in the future to be one of the last remaining types of homo sapiens”. He described mind uploading as a path to “digital immortality”, in which a scanned brain could later be downloaded “as an android, an avatar, a cyborg … a clone of yourself, a robot, an ethereal being, whatever you wanna be”. He sees no conflict with Judaism, citing Maimonides' principle of the revival of the dead and noting that some may call his outlook “post-Orthodox”. He has also asked how Jewish law will handle lab-grown meat, orbital spaceflight and self-driving cars on Shabbat.

**Data and AI.** He describes his stream as “a timeline and a time capsule of human achievement” and as a dataset for AI. He says he has “more human data archived on the Internet than any person ever”, archives news broadcasts on stream, and calls himself “the largest human example for AI”, in that his sleep, speech and behavior can be studied as he ages. He streamed through the launch of ChatGPT, which he says gives him a record of life “before AI” and after.

**Megaprojects and world peace.** He argues for a Bering Strait tunnel, completing the Pan-American Highway through the Darién Gap, tunnels under the Strait of Gibraltar and eventually the Atlantic, new canals, sea-scrapers and floating cities, a space elevator and asteroid mining. He presents all of these as tools for world peace and for ending world hunger and thirst. A 2026 press release, [“Rabbi Rothschild Highlights a Vision for a Better World Through Futurism Discussions”](https://www.prlog.org/13136931-rabbi-rothschild-highlights-vision-for-better-world-through-futurism-discussions.html), lists the same themes: life extension, environmental technology, Earth megaprojects and “Humanity Beyond Earth”.

**Debate.** Two of his stated principles are opposition to ad hominem attacks and the view that “nothing is debunked”, which is also the subject of his Medium essays “Debunk is Bunk” and “69 Times ‘Debunked’ Ideas Were Later Proven Right or Revised”.

In the Eye of Jupiter interview he also linked his project to the coin: “I'm sponsored by a cryptocurrency … one of the things that we do is we build wells and water towers in developing nations, such as [Nigeria](https://bitcoinobama.com/nigeria)”, a reference to the HarryPotterObamaSonic10Inu community's Sproto wells.
