Bitcoin Obama's coin is $BITCOIN, which is HarryPotterObamaSonic10Inu (HPOS10I), not $BTC. Calling him “BTC Obama” is wrong, and everyone who does goes on this list. The list covers X posts from Apr 2023 to Oct 21, 2026, plus reports from group chats. The tone column is a rough label: hostile, friendly or neutral/joke. Everyone on the list used the name, whatever their tone. Ironically, his own October 2023 $OBX account was @BTCobama6900.

History of the name
The wrong name is almost as old as the coin. In August 2023 a launch shill listed “BTC OBAMA” among the big names on board a new token[1], and during the $OBX launch that October one holder wrote “when I see btc obama I buy immediately”.[2]
The first pile-on came on May 13, 2024. Within about 90 minutes, at least seven accounts posted some version of “Fuck Mr Dubai and btc Obama”, one adding “$MUSH IS MOONING WITHOUT U”.[3][4][5] In September 2024 one critic called him “a grifting faqqot” three times in a single morning[6][7], while another threatened to “kidnam BTC Obama and Midjet and giving them to PP as slave”.[8] The October 2024 chicken Spaces produced friendlier misnamings, such as “Soon Btc Obama Chicken!! Soon you will runnn like the wind!!”[9]
In 2025 the name came mostly from rivals and fans of other coins. Supporters of Junior the Nigerian said “We went higher than btcObama will ever reach”[10] and compared the two men's sizes[11], and one poster's game of fuck, marry, kill ended with “kill btc Obama”.[12] A regular fan account kept using it with affection, from “btc obama motion” to calling another shiller “the second biggest shiller of Africa after btc obama”.[13][14]
In 2026 the worst offenders were vibekilla, who said Obama was too good for “the Cockroach tier”[15], and Drew Roberts. From August 2026 Roberts built a running bit around the “btc obama nastty midget”, who he said had stolen his bread, poisoned the wells “wif chiken blood” and stolen his dog.[16][17][18] In October he confirmed that “btc obama & midget r still me enemies”.[19]
