Jimoh the Nigerian (“Real Jimoh”, @RealJimoh001) is a Nigerian member of the Bitcoin Obama community on X, known in the community as the man who does voodoo and spells. Jimoh is a Yoruba given name. He opened his account in May 2026 and from October 2026 has been a regular in the replies of Cryptoiscrack, the host of The Crypto Craic Podcast, where he quizzes him about Obama.^[1]^[2]

Voodoo and spells

In the community Jimoh is the Nigerian who does voodoo and spells. No post of his found so far uses those words. The posts that do are about other people:

Spells and curses have been part of the lore since 2023. That July, holders wrote that the “#ScrotoSchizos have cast a spell on @BitcoinObama, releasing the #TinubuDemons”^[3], and a mock juror said a witch had cast “a bad spell on mister Bitcoin Obama”.^[4] Bitcoin Mandela said the holders were “under Bitcoin Obama spell”.^[5]
Nigerian Phil posted a video called “Voodoo Spell” in October 2023.
In 2025 an account asked whether Obama had put “some juju on Light Coin Obama”.^[6]
On Oct 21, 2026, two days after Jimoh's first reply to him, Cryptoiscrack wrote that “this aint the first time someone put a curse on me” and that “others have put voodoo spells on me multiple times before”^[7]^[8]. He told Bitcoin Robin Williams “you have done voodoo on me before bro”.^[9]^[8]

On X

His bio is a single Japanese line, “痛みがあります” (“I am in pain”). The profile lists Georgia, USA as its location. His posts mix memecoin shilling with Nigerian slang and patriotism: he answered one Cryptoiscrack thread with “Ogoro 💯”, Yoruba slang for palm wine^[10]^[11], and in October 2026 he complained about the American “obsession with Nigeria”, from “pushing religious war, unrealistic poverty stats and now pushing fraud agenda”.^[12]^[13] In mid-October 2026 he shilled a small Solana memecoin, $FATNIG, and entered its giveaway (“More soldiers to join !!!”).^[14]^[15]

Relationship with Bitcoin Obama

Jimoh mostly reaches Obama through Cryptoiscrack. On Oct 13, 2026, Cryptoiscrack showed Obama's @obama__nastty account that “a nigerian joined me”^[16]^[17]. When Cryptoiscrack called Obama a “Scammer”^[18] on Oct 19, Jimoh asked: “He scammed you?”^[1] Three days later he asked what keeps him coming back:
