Davie
Davie (Dave Ferreira, @ferreira_d57554), also called Daddy Dave, is a Fishtank Live personality from Fall River, Massachusetts, who was the longest staying participant in the spin-off series The Cell / Bitchtank.[1] On episode 12 of The Crypto Craic Podcast, “DAVIE from FISHTANK talks to BITCOIN OBAMA” (May 23, 2026), Bitcoin Obama interviews him. The Fishtank Live Wiki lists him as Dave;[1] he goes by Davie, the name used in the episode title and in his Kick handle, daviepyro222.

Davie joined The Cell, which ran across the hall from Bitchtank, as a freeloader early in the series. He quickly became a fan favourite for being unusually kind and humble.[1] During his stay the crew set up a fund on the Fishtank website, and viewers met its $3,000 goal (40,000 Fish Tokens) in less than a day.[1] He spent his days with the other Cell participants, got supportive TTS messages and Fishtoys from the audience, and was sometimes visited by the Bitchtank girls.[1]
For his last two days the crew redecorated the set as the “Dave Cave”, with furniture and decorations picked for him. He stayed 11 days, longer than anyone else in The Cell, and left six days before the finale; the next arrival, Greg, took over the Dave Cave until the end of the show.[1] When he left he had over 1,300 endorsements, the most of anyone on The Cell / Bitchtank.[1]
He also turned up in later seasons as a running joke. The Fishtank Times, the newspaper production made for Season 4 contestants, ran a “Have You Seen Me?” missing person notice with his picture, name and age. About a year after Season 4 was cancelled, the Fishtank figure Mints said Davie had been meant to appear in it, in a post-apocalyptic camping challenge with Jimmy at the Season 2 house.[1]
