Shadowladys ($SHADOW)

Shadowladys (ticker $SHADOW) is a DN404 token on Ethereum that came out of the Sprotoladys NFT collection in February 2024. DN404 is one of the ERC-404 style standards: the same asset trades as a fungible ERC-20 token and also exists as NFTs, one for each whole token held. The Sprotoladys account called it “our new PFP #DN404 evolution of #ERC404s”[1] and supporters called the pieces the Sprotoladys' “#ERC404 sisters”.[2] The token was airdropped to Sprotolady holders, so Bitcoin Obama, who had sold his Sprotolady, missed it.

The token

The $SHADOW contract that Yannix and the Sprotoladys team shared in February 2024 is 0x46305B2eBcd92809d5fcEf577C20C28A185Af03c. On-chain it is named “Shadowladys DN404”, with a supply of 10,000 SHADOW.[3][4] A second contract called “Shadow Ladys” (also SHADOW) uses a variant called DNERC404X. It has 4,444 tokens, the same number as the Sprotoladys collection, and its metadata describes “4,444 Shadow Ladys birthed from the Chaos Gems” and links to the Sprotoladys website.[5][6] In October 2024 a promoter was still describing it as “$Shadow Ladys (DN404 tech) ERC-20 + NFT Hybrid”.[7]

Neither contract has an active DEX pool or a listed NFT floor, so this page has no live price tracker. The project's own website, shadowladys.xyz, no longer loads.

Launch (February 2024)

On Feb 14, 2024 (6:12 PM CT) the Sprotoladys account opened a Valentine's Day giveaway to celebrate the launch: follow the account, tag two people, “$SHADOW”.[1] Bitcoin Obama took part within hours. He retweeted it[8] and, at 1:12 AM CT on Feb 15, replied to it tagging @BONGRAKER and TheRevCloud.[9] Yannix was pitching it the same night: “BASED #DN404 devs delivering HARD / $Shadow Ladys”.[3]

On Feb 19 the Sprotoladys account said “$SHADOW is ready to emerge from the shadows and attack the timeline once again” and announced an X Space for that evening.[10] Obama retweeted it.[11] That evening (7:19 PM CT) Yannix posted that the team was “sharing new updates on Shadowladys, the completed airdrop, and outlining the NEXT steps for $Shadow”, and Obama retweeted that too.[12][13]

Bitcoin Obama missed the airdrop

The airdrop went to people holding a Sprotolady, and Obama no longer had his. Early on Feb 19, 2024 (2:34 AM CT) a holder replied to one of his donation requests: “Jeeted your @Sprotolady and now u would have some $Shadow. Neva coom ser”.[14] The story repeated with later airdrops. In November 2025 Cryptoiscrack said Obama had again “jeeted every nft and coin they required to hold”.[15]

Shadowladys later became giveaway prizes. On Jul 13, 2025 Cryptoiscrack reminded Obama that he still owed several winners “the molady nft prize too and sprotolady shadows”.[16] (The molady prize is from Molady Maker.)
