Sprotel

Sprotel (@SprotelBitcoin, display name “Sprotel Bitcoin⚡️⚡️”) is a holder of HarryPotterObamaSonic10Inu ($BITCOIN, the “ticker BITCOIN” coin on Ethereum) and the founder of Club HPOS10I, a bar and restaurant in Nassau, Bahamas, named after the coin. He joined X in February 2024 and has been one of the most persistent people in Bitcoin Obama's replies ever since. He has asked Obama for his wallet, sent him coins, polled whether he should “face consequences for his crimes”, and wished him a happy birthday. Obama, for his part, called him “good man and best fans of BITCOIN OBAMA” and has kept asking him for a job.

2024: the control wallet

Sprotel's first post about the account came on April 21, 2024, when he asked another holder “Who is bitcoin Obama?”[1]. By June he was replying to Obama directly. On the afternoon of June 30, 2024 (US Central), he and @psyoptrick asked Obama for his wallet address. When the first address Obama posted turned out to be nearly empty, Sprotel asked “where’s all the bitcoin and sprotos everyone sends you”[2]. Obama answered “Ask the community all are in control wallet”[3], then posted a second address with “Send me everything here”[4]. Sprotel sent a test amount of $RETAIN, and Obama confirmed “I just recieved 1 $RETAIN bags” before telling him to “send the remain”.[5][6][7]

On July 9, 2024 Sprotel announced “I am going to send money to Bitcoin Obama.”[8] Minutes later Obama called him “good man and best fans of BITCOIN OBAMA”[9] and added “This man is always want make me rich”[10]. The next day Obama reposted the same wallet to him[11]. In August Sprotel told others he had sent Obama some $RETAIN because “he said he would take it to the millions”.[12]

$TCAT, $OBAMA and the disclaimer

Through late July 2024 Obama used Sprotel's threads to promote $TCAT, promising “$TCAT TO 100M” and “I swear I will hold my 400$ to 100M”.[13][14] When Obama moved to the Solana coin Bitcoin Obama ($OBAMA) at the start of September, Sprotel posted an “URGENT ANNOUNCEMENT” that “the ‘shiller’ known as Bitcoin Obama is not affiliated with Ticker BITCOIN, HarryPotterObamaSonic10Inu, or any and all related properties”[15]. He then opened bets on “How long until Bitcoin Obama abandons his coin $OBAMA”[16]. Obama replied with the contract and “The ticker is now $Obama”[17], and later with “$obama never stop for sure”[18]. Sprotel also told the Bitcoin Obama 2.0 account “this is a war you cannot win”[19] and posted the line “Never ask… 3. Bitcoin Obama who owns his Sproto”.[20]

2025: banana bags and the poll

In February 2025 Obama pitched Sprotel on paying for video content: “Let the team send midget 100K BCAT then contents will come tomorrow”, and “always progressive pay is good and better”.[21][22] On June 25, 2025 Sprotel posted that “74 people agree that BITCOIN OBAMA needs to face consequences for his crimes”[23]. A month later he joked “Ticker bitcoin to $1 by August or we sacrifice BITCOIN Obama to the egregore”.[24] When Obama's later account seemed about to drop the name in November 2025, Sprotel asked “So BITCOIN Obama will not exist anymore?”[25]

2026: “Give me job”

After Obama returned as @obama__nastty, Sprotel wished him “Happy birthday to the BITCOIN Obama” on June 18, 2026[26]. Obama now mostly answers him with requests for work. He replied “Give me job” on June 30, July 6 and August 23, 2026, “Send some bananas 🍌” and “I am monkey send me banana 🍌”, and on September 4 “My content like this”.[27][28][29][30][31][32] He also tagged Sprotel in his September 2026 “Big launch to make NIGERIA GREAT AGAIN”[33] and sent him “check dm now” on October 9[34]. On October 26, 2026 Obama replied to him “My father is the best”.[35]
