RXK Nephew (also written RXKNephew; formerly Rx Nephew and DrugRixh Nephew) is an American rapper, songwriter and record producer from Rochester, New York, known for his enormous release rate, his stream-of-consciousness style and the nine-minute 2020 song “American Tterroristt”. In September 2026 he joined a Discord call with three members of the Nigerian “Bitcoin” crew, Bitcoin Theo Von, Bitcoin Robin Williams and Adeleke. Cryptoiscrack released the call on Sep 29, 2026 on the YouTube channel of The Crypto Craic Podcast as “Uncle RXKNEPHEW goes on NIGERIAN Podcast”. During it the crew told him about Bitcoin Obama, whom he took at first to be Barack Obama.

Background and music career

RXK Nephew was born Kristopher Kevon Williams and raised in Rochester, New York, mostly by his grandmother. His mother was seventeen when he was born.[1] He has said his grandmother sparked his interest in music with gifts like a karaoke machine, a piano and a guitar, and that he learned to play piano by ear.[2] He rapped casually under names such as Brisko Slice, but only took music seriously after serving a prison sentence and several years of parole. He began uploading songs as Rx Nephew in 2017 and later changed the name to RXK Nephew.[3]

He is known for how much he puts out. He told Rolling Stone he released about 400 songs in 2021 (“probably more than that”). He records in his car, at home or anywhere else, and lets producers pay him to rap on their beats first.[2] Critics often compare him to Lil B for his volume and his off-the-cuff, stream-of-consciousness delivery.[1] His lyrics jump between conspiracy theories, violent threats and absurd punchlines. He raps over trap, plugg, house, Baltimore club, drum and bass and other styles.[3] His recurring demonic-voiced alter ego is called Slitherman.[3]

His best-known song is “American Tterroristt”, a nearly ten-minute, hookless monologue released on the winter solstice of 2020. He said it was recorded “straight off the couch at the crib”.[2] It appeared on the mixtape Crack Therapy 3.[3] Pitchfork ranked it second on its September 2024 list of the 100 best songs of the 2020s so far.[1] His 2021 album Slitherman Activated came out on the New York dance label Towhead Recordings.[2] Till I'm Dead (2023), his first album with a single producer, Rx Brainstorm, borrows its title and cover from the Notorious B.I.G.'s Ready to Die.[3] With fellow Rochester rapper Rx Papi he records as Neph & Pap.[1]

In June 2025 he released “John Fetterman”, a diss track about the Pennsylvania senator. Will Menaker of the podcast Chapo Trap House commissioned it after Nephew quoted him $500.[4][5] His 2026 releases include Slow Lane Larry (February),[6] RXK Juice Lord 3 with Yung Deco (August) and Listen 2 This Tape B4 I Beat Yo Ass (September 13, a week before the Discord call).[7]

Appearance on The Crypto Craic Podcast

Recording and release

On Sep 20, 2026 he posted an Instagram reel captioned “Doing a podcast on discord wit some Nigerian niggas”. That evening (9:58 PM CT) Cryptoiscrack shared it with the post “rxknephew on nigerian podcast”[8], along with a teaser clip. Bitcoin Robin Williams and Bitcoin Theo Von reposted both.

The full 21-minute call went up on YouTube on Sep 29, 2026 as “Uncle RXKNEPHEW goes on NIGERIAN Podcast”. It is a YouTube-only release and is not in the podcast's audio feed. The host announced it at 2:38 AM CT, and Bitcoin Obama reposted the announcement at 4:25 AM CT. Cryptoiscrack does not speak on the recording, and Bitcoin Obama is not on the call.

The audio is a noisy Discord call. RXK Nephew repeatedly could not hear or understand the hosts, so several of his lines below come from a rough transcript. Times are positions in the YouTube video.

Introductions

Bitcoin Theo Von opens by introducing himself, Adeleke and Robin (00:07). RXK Nephew asks, “All right, what's up with it, man? What are we talking about today?” (00:28). Asked where he is from, he answers “Rochester, New York” and tells them to “do your research”, name-checking Lil Reese (01:08). When Bitcoin Robin Williams says where he is based, Nephew guesses Montreal, “like near Toronto” (01:30).

Bitcoin Theo Von welcomes him by saying “there is a lot more to RXK Nephew that does the music” and asks how he is doing (01:49). Nephew answers that he is “actually doing so good” and is “just appreciative” for everything he has, and says he is now in Miami, “down south” (02:15). Bitcoin Theo Von says he checked Nephew's Instagram and calls him “extremely prolific” (02:46). The call then breaks up, and Bitcoin Robin Williams takes over the questions because Bitcoin Theo Von's “network is broken” (03:31, 04:35).

Career, money and prison

Asked how far he has come since he started, Nephew says he started in 2019, mentions “400 songs” and says he bought his mother a house from his music: “I got my mama house over everything that I did. Everything that I did that made me who I am today. And I'm not stopping” (05:20–05:54).

When the crew's questions keep getting lost in the bad audio, he cuts in: he can't understand them, he sold crack and went to prison, “what do you want to know about me” (08:43). Adeleke answers, “wow, so you're like an ex-convict” (09:02). AllMusic also reports that he only took music seriously after serving a prison sentence.[3]

Tour plans and the kangaroo

Asked about his next performance, he names Austin, Texas, and then a trip to Australia in March, with goals he calls his bucket list: “I'm gonna go knock a kangaroo out. As soon as I see a kangaroo I'm punching them out. Ain't no kangaroo whooping me”. He adds that he wants to “stomp on a tarantula”, and he also mentions Iggy Azalea (09:12). He tells Adeleke that “they love to see me”, promises “I'm going to book you” and points him to his manager (10:02–10:26).

Nigeria, Davido and the free feature

Asked whether he has been to Nigeria, he says “no but I want to go” and that he “just got my passport” (10:36–10:43). Bitcoin Robin Williams brings up the Nigerian star Davido, which Nephew first hears as “David Blaine” (10:49–11:02). After the crew spell the name out letter by letter, he looks Davido up on Instagram, reacting to the size of his audience (13:17–13:39). He then offers: “give me linked in with some artists from Nigeria and I'm willing to do a feature for free” (14:11–14:23). Bitcoin Robin Williams replies that Davido “is my uncle” (14:31).

Earlier, struggling with the accents, he says, “I ain't gonna lie, I need a translator bro, I need a translator, I really can't understand you like that” (12:29).

“Who called me uncle”

When someone calls him uncle, he objects: “who called me uncle? Nephew, I've been here for a long time” (11:26). He calls himself “an OG”, says “don't make me show my age, born in 1994”, and says he made it to 30, adding that the young “would be lucky to make it to my age” when people are “out here dying at 23 and 22, 25”, then repeats “I'm still alive” in a sing-song flow (11:39–12:13). When the crew compliment the flow, he says, “yeah I wrote that song” (12:16). The 1994 birth year is his own statement on the call. Published sources give February 1, 1995.[1] The video title calls him “Uncle RXKNEPHEW”.

His music and biggest feature

Asked which of his songs is most popular and who his biggest feature is, he keeps answering with his own name. He says he only listens to himself: “I'm perfecting my craft, I really don't be listening to no other… I'm gonna focus on my own shit” (15:09–15:55). Bitcoin Theo Von replies that he is “falling in love” with his craft (15:39).

Bitcoin Obama segment

About 16 minutes in, Bitcoin Robin Williams brings up Obama (16:14). Nephew, thinking of Barack Obama, asks, “you said you're from Nigeria, what the… you know about Obama, what Obama got to do in another country” (16:33). He then declares, “if you see me running, I'm running for president”, and Adeleke replies, “I'm gonna vote for you” (16:45–16:51). He riffs through “Osama… what's his name, Barack Obama”, Donald Trump and Joe Biden (17:05–17:21), then plugs his own campaign, Slitherman for President, telling them that “the album and the vinyl just dropped” (17:21). An album called Slitherman for President is listed in his discography for 2024.[1]

Adeleke then corrects him: “I'm not talking about Barack Obama, I'm talking about Bitcoin Obama” (17:34). Bitcoin Robin Williams adds, “I'm talking about the Nigeria Obama” (17:43). On the October 2026 clip of this exchange, the host's caption reads “RXKNephew is asked about Bitcoin Obama”.

“That was your one shot”

Hearing Bitcoin Robin Williams talk, Nephew says, “I thought you was rapping for a minute… I could tell you make music”. He asks him for a verse, mentioning his label “Crack Rock Records” (17:54–18:13), and tells him “it's your chance right here” (18:21–18:23). Bitcoin Robin Williams attempts a few lines that mention Nephew and Obama (18:55), then backs off: “I was just joking bro… I'm a good rapper bro”. Nephew's verdict is, “that was your one shot and you just blew it” (19:26–19:34).

Ending

Near the 20-minute mark Nephew asks “what time is it? I think we up with this interview”, and Bitcoin Robin Williams asks for “three minutes” (20:12–20:18). Bitcoin Theo Von asks what moment made him realise music could change his life, but Nephew stops to fix his headphones (20:23–20:31). When Bitcoin Robin Williams says they could work together, Nephew says, “I ain't gonna hold y'all, y'all wasting this time bro, y'all asking irrelevant…” (20:49–20:53). The video ends with him still asking “who said” he was an uncle (21:09).[9][8][10]

No direct exchange between RXK Nephew and Bitcoin Obama has been found. Obama is not on the call, and no post from Nephew's X account (@nephewrxk) mentioning Obama or the podcast has been found. Obama reposted the host's announcement of the episode on Sep 29, 2026[11] and the clip “RXKNephew is asked about Bitcoin Obama” on Oct 21, 2026[12]. Inside the episode, Obama is the subject of the 16:14–17:43 exchange in which Nephew mistakes him for Barack Obama.

Clips and promotion

Cryptoiscrack first teased the call on Sep 20, 2026: “rxknephew joins bitcoin theo von the nigerian and bitcoin robin williams on podcast”.[9] He announced the full episode on Sep 29 as “Uncle RXKNephew goes on Nigerian Podcast”.[10] Bitcoin Obama shared it that morning[11], and Adeleke shared it that evening.

On Oct 21 he cut the call into three short clips: “rxknephew made it to see 30”[13], “RXKNephew is asked about Bitcoin Obama”[14] and “RXKNephew learns about @davido and other nigerian music artists”.[15] The crew shared the clips. Bitcoin Obama shared the one about himself within the hour, and Bitcoin Robin Williams shared it later that morning.
