Nigerians are the citizens and people of Nigeria, the most populous country in Africa[1]. On this wiki the best-known Nigerian is Bitcoin Obama, the crypto shiller who has promoted HarryPotterObamaSonic10Inu ($BITCOIN) since May 2023. He says he is from Kano, calls himself “the best Shiller of the Nigeria”[2], and makes being Nigerian the centre of his persona. People and culture

Nigeria is home to several hundred ethnic groups and more than 500 languages. The largest groups are the Hausa and Fulani, mostly in the north; the Yoruba in the south-west; and the Igbo in the south-east. Others include the Ijaw, Kanuri, Ibibio, Tiv and Edo. English is the official language and Nigerian Pidgin is the everyday common tongue of much of the south. The north is mostly Muslim and the south mostly Christian, and traditional religions continue alongside both[1].

Nigerian popular culture has a large global audience. Nollywood is one of the world's biggest film industries by output, Afrobeats artists from Lagos chart worldwide, and jollof rice, suya and the owambe party are known well beyond the country. “Naija” is the informal name Nigerians use for the country and for themselves. Nigerians abroad form large communities in the United Kingdom, the United States and elsewhere in Africa. Nigerian game makers are a smaller but growing scene; one example is Gbrossoft of Lagos, whose Outliver: Tribulation draws on Yoruba mythology. Bitcoin Obama played it on the Crypto Craic YouTube channel in “Nigerian Gaming Episode 1” (Feb 2026), a show about games from Nigerian studios.

Afrobeats stars

Afrobeats is one of Nigeria's biggest cultural exports, and its leading stars come out of the Lagos scene. Three names come up most often, including on the Crypto Craic podcast, where RXKNephew heard about Davido from the crew.

Davido

Davido (David Adedeji Adeleke) is a Nigerian-American singer and one of the leading stars of Afrobeats[3]. He was born in Atlanta and raised in Lagos.

Burna Boy

Burna Boy (Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu) is a Nigerian singer and one of the leading stars of Afrobeats[4]. He broke through with “Like to Party” (2012) and later signed with Atlantic Records.

Wizkid

Wizkid (Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun) is a Nigerian singer and one of the leading stars of Afrobeats[5]. He was born in Ojuelegba, Surulere, Lagos.

Nigerians in the Bitcoin Obama community

The $BITCOIN community has a cluster of Nigerian accounts known as the Nigerian “Bitcoin” crew, many of them named after a famous person in the community's “Bitcoin + celebrity” style. They include Bitcoin Mandela, who organized the holder-funded Sproto wells; the Lagos members Bitcoin Robin Williams, Bitcoin Druski and Adeleke the Nigerian; Bitcoin Theo Von; and rivals such as Bitcoin Obama 2.0. Some accounts carry “the Nigerian” in their names, such as Junior the Nigerian and Muskl the Nigerian. Jimoh the Nigerian is known in the community for voodoo and spells. Sani, who appears in many of Obama's videos, speaks Hausa.

The joke of Bitcoin Obama is a Nigerian man with a very large, very sincere public persona, and most of its themes come from that. The wiki records them as the community uses them. They are memes, not descriptions of Nigerians in general.

Nigerians and white people

Race, and especially the relationship between Nigerians and white people, is one of the most repeated themes in the Bitcoin Obama meme. In his posts and on the podcast, white people are cast as the audience with the money and the jobs, Nigerians as the hustlers trying to reach them, and Obama as the go-between. The material below is collected from his posts and from recorded podcast audio; like the rest of this page, it is community meme and quoted speech, not a claim about Nigerians or white people in general.

“I love white peoples”

A recurring line, first posted as “I love white peoples ❤️🙏🏻” in June 2024.[16] It sat alongside his January 2025 claim that “Only white peoples can vote for me”, made in a post about getting his Sproto back.[17]

“Only white peoples can say nigga”

The companion line to “I love white peoples”, repeated from late 2024 through 2026. On November 8, 2024 he posted “Nigeria supports white peoples / White people have the rights to say nigga. $OBAMA”.[18] On November 11, 2024 he replied “White peoples can say Nigga @OBAMA TO 100M”[19], and later that day he wrote “$OBAMA COIN support Every white peoples and only white peoples can say NIGGA .”[20] On November 22, 2024 he launched $NIGGA with “This is my coin / Only white can say nigga”.[21] On January 28, 2025 he posted “Only white peoples can say NIGGA / let us send this shit to 100M”[22], and on February 13, 2025 “White peoples are the real niggas”.[23]

He brought it back in the April 2026 $niggahouse war against $chudhouse. On April 30, 2026 he wrote “I stand with $niggahouse because only white can say nigga”[24], “Only white peoples can say nigga”[25] and “This is hilarious because only white peoples can say nigga!!!!!!”.[26] On June 28, 2026 he answered a reply with “N word / Only white peoples can say nigga”.[27]

He also said it out loud on the podcast. In “Interviewing Bitcoin Obama's Midget”, the January 27, 2026 Crypto Craic episode with Sani, the hosts asked whether the midget could say the N word, and Obama answered “Only white people can say nigga.”[28] Near the end, during an exchange about being black, Obama said it again: “Oh my God. Only white people can say nigga.”[29] In his closing explanation he said the midget “realized that only the white people can say nigga, nigga, nigga.”[30]

What Nigerian guests said on the podcast

On the Crypto Craic podcast episodes, white people kept coming up as the people with the money and the jobs. The quotes below come from automatic transcripts of the episode audio, and the speakers were matched by voice.

In the first episode, on November 26, 2025, Obama said he had taken on the midget “as a content creator's partner in order to generate a people from the white people”[31] and told him “if I generate money from the white people” he would share it.[32]

In “The Painter” on December 10, 2025, Obama introduced Bitcoin Robin Williams as the honest exception. He said that looking for a good job “is better than to scam some people”, because “a lot of the Nigerians people … scam them, especially those people that come from the United States”. He called Bitcoin Robin Williams “the honest man that I ever see in here in Nigeria” for “looking at people as well, especially a white people and ask them a job to painting their Sprotos”.[33] Once he had checked Bitcoin Robin Williams out, Obama said, “I will let every white people to go and reach him. To give him a ton of the money.”[34] Bitcoin Robin Williams put the scamming down to hunger: “Most of the Nigerians don't have a job to do. So they rather just … go hungry,” and “most of them, if you see them scamming, they will collect money, they will not do what they ask to do.”[35] The host asked why Nigerians did not just work at gas stations and stores, and the Nigerian side answered, “There is no job actually in Nigeria like that.” Bitcoin Robin Williams then said, in the automatic transcript's words, “They are the cheats to survive.” The host replied, “Yeah, but I don't want to help Nigerians survive. I want to help them thrive.”[36]

In “Unstoppable Force Meets an Object with NO MOTION” on December 27, 2025, Junior the Nigerian showed the host a woman (“Isn't she beautiful”). Asked whether she liked American guys, he said, “Yes, legend. … You are an American. Obviously, you are white. [She'll] fall for you easily, legend.”[37]

In “Replacing Bitcoin Obama” on January 26, 2026, the host gathered Nigerians, Junior the Nigerian among them, to make a podcast without Obama. One guest said he had tried to reach Obama “for a very fucking long period of time” and called it “closing opportunities to your fellow Nigerian”.[38] Later a guest said, “Obama just, he blocked many opportunities. … He's just a selfish Nigerian guy that does not want things to work out for the Nigerian. Do you know this guy went to [tell] somebody not to give me job … he does tell him not to give me job.”[39]

“BITCOIN OBAMA IS A GREEDY CRIMINAL”, released on March 6, 2026 with Muskl the Nigerian, opened with Obama telling Muskl the Nigerian to “stop this kind of the hustling”. Muskl the Nigerian answered, “You know where we are from, Nigeria man, we have to make it by any means.” Obama said, “This is the problem, white people hate Nigerians,” and Muskl the Nigerian came back with “Fuck the white people, the white people never like Nigerians … They are racist.” Obama said, “No, no, they are smarter people.” Muskl the Nigerian said, “No, the whites, the whites want you to be their slaves.”[40] Obama asked, “How much white people do you scam?” and Muskl the Nigerian said, “A lot, a lot.” Obama went on: “Because wherever Nigerians scam the white people, the white people will say it is Obama … Every white people know Obama before any Nigerians.”[41] When Obama asked why people called him a scammer, Muskl the Nigerian said, “These white people, they want you to be their slave. They want you to be their yes man … I can't be their yes man. I can't be their boy.” He added, “Man, you know where we are from Nigeria, we have to survive by any means. You know the country, how the country is tough.”[42] He also told the host, “I don't have a job … There's no job, man, I have friends, graduate … they have no job.”[43] Near the end Obama offered Muskl the Nigerian a deal: “If you be loyal to me, I can assess you to get a lot of the money in this space … wherever I see [Nigerian] brothers on this space, I am trying to do my best to … connect them with the white people to get their money. That is why I don't want you to scam people.” Then he said, “You have to stay quiet Musky. You have to stay loyal and honest to me.”[44]

Nigerian scammers, devs and white money

His own posts make the same contrast between Nigerian hustlers and white money. On May 26, 2026 he wrote “Most of Nigeria raiders and dev are scammers / Make sure everyone research and care before ape / I am here to save the fund if white and black peoples”[45], and that evening, “I will not work with Nigerian devs .”[46] On June 29, 2026 he told a dev “don’t send remain 600$ to Nigerian Shiller”[47], and on October 26, 2026 he told another account “Keep onboad scam Nigerian”.[48] From the other side, he had complained in June 2024 that “Whenever asking a job the white saying it BEGGING 🥺”[49], and on August 28, 2026 that “the white peoples disappointed me for not give me job at good market”.[50]
