RedKev ( @redkev , visningsnavn “ReDKeV” ) er en kunstner og medlem i Sproto Gremlins- fællesskabet. Hans bio lyder “✝️ | artist | memes | @SprotoGremlins” , og kontoen er fra november 2021. I juni 2023, uger efter Bitcoin Obama dukkede op første gang, skrev han en af de tidligste stykker af Obama-lore: en falsk nyhedstråd, hvor Obama bliver skudt og redder CZ. Han har skrevet om Obama lige siden, og Obama har svaret ham fra flere af hans konti.
CZ-tråden
Den 7. juni 2023 (omkring kl. 16:35 CT) lagde RedKev en banebrydende nyhedstråd om et forsøg på Binance-grundlæggeren CZ. I den “started flying towards CZ, but our hero was there just in time. He jumped in front of CZ, shielding him” . “Outcome” -indlægget siger, at overfaldsmændene "havde savnet CZ og ramt Nigerias fremtidige præsident, Bitcoin Obama " [1] , og at “CZ rushed to help and held Bitcoin Obama in his arms when he uttered 'harrypotterobamasonic10inu to 1B MC' before passing out” . “Aftermath” -indlægget siger, at Obama “is expected to make a full recovery” [2] , og at CZ “said he would do anything he could to help $Bitcoin” .

2023: “Bitcoin Obama is taking over the world”
I de første måneder heppede RedKev Obama på. Som svar på Bitcoin Obama 2.0 skrev han “Bitcoin Obama 2.0 cookin 👨🍳” [8] (august 2024) og “Bitcoin Obama 2.0 undertaker wasn't on my bingo card” [9] (februar 2025). Hans vittigheder blev tørrere. Han skrev, at “bitcoin obama has only ever devved rugs bro” [10] , at “barack and Michelle are the heroes, bitcoin obama is the villian last I heard” [11] (spurgt om et projekt ville indeholde Bitcoin Obama eller den rigtige), at “using bitcoin obama to promote is the worse thing you could've done” [12] , og “im really glad we are phasing out irl bitcoin obama for sora bitcoin obama” [13] .
2026
