Nel giugno 2023, settimane dopo la prima apparizione Bitcoin Obama , ha scritto uno dei primi pezzi della tradizione di Obama: un finto thread di notizie in cui Obama viene colpito mentre salva CZ. Da allora ha pubblicato post su Obama e Obama gli ha risposto da molti dei suoi account.

Il filo della CZ

Il 7 giugno 2023 (intorno alle 16:35 CT) RedKev ha pubblicato un finto thread di ultime notizie su un attentato alla vita del fondatore di Binance CZ. In esso i proiettili “started flying towards CZ, but our hero was there just in time. He jumped in front of CZ, shielding him” . Il post “Outcome” afferma che gli aggressori "avevano mancato CZ e avevano colpito il futuro presidente della Nigeria , Bitcoin Obama " ^[1] , e che “CZ rushed to help and held Bitcoin Obama in his arms when he uttered 'harrypotterobamasonic10inu to 1B MC' before passing out” . Il post “Aftermath” dice che Obama “is expected to make a full recovery” ^[2] e che CZ “said he would do anything he could to help $Bitcoin” .

Rapporto con Bitcoin Obama

2023: “Bitcoin Obama is taking over the world”

Nei primi mesi RedKev ha incoraggiato Obama. Ha detto a un notiziario nigeriano “Bitcoin Obama would never let this happen, time for a change” ^[3] , e ha scritto “It's beautiful, Bitcoin obama is taking over the world” ^[4] . Il 23 luglio 2023 Obama lo ha taggato, insieme ad altri artisti, in un post definendo un NFT “best NFT of the world” ^[5] . ^[6] ^[7]

2024 e 2025: Bitcoin Obama 2.0

In risposta a Bitcoin Obama 2.0 ha scritto “Bitcoin Obama 2.0 cookin 👨‍🍳” ^[8] (agosto 2024) e “Bitcoin Obama 2.0 undertaker wasn't on my bingo card” ^[9] (febbraio 2025). Le sue battute divennero più secche. Ha scritto che “bitcoin obama has only ever devved rugs bro” ^[10] , che “barack and Michelle are the heroes, bitcoin obama is the villian last I heard” ^[11] (gli ha chiesto se un progetto avrebbe avuto come protagonista Bitcoin Obama o quello vero), che “using bitcoin obama to promote is the worse thing you could've done” ^[12] e, nell'ottobre 2025, “im really glad we are phasing out irl bitcoin obama for sora bitcoin obama” ^[13] .

2026

Le risposte di Obama nei suoi thread del 2026 sono brevi e transazionali: “Poor team” (maggio), “No until get paid” ^[14] (giugno) e, a settembre, che “waiting for you in telegram” ^[15] per “almost 9 hours in market” . Nell'ottobre 2026 RedKev ha risposto al thread “Bitcoin Obama: A History” di Cryptoiscrack dicendo che "si era dimenticato dello spettacolo di appuntamenti con oggo e la sorella maggiore 🫣". Ha anche elogiato “persistence that few will ever be able to match” di Bitcoin Robin Williams . ^[16] ^[17]
