RedKev ( @redkev , visningsnavn “ReDKeV” ) er en artist og medlem i Sproto Gremlins- fellesskapet. Biografien hans lyder “✝️ | artist | memes | @SprotoGremlins” , og kontoen er fra november 2021. I juni 2023, uker etter at Bitcoin Obama først dukket opp, skrev han en av de tidligste delene av Obama-historien: en falsk nyhetstråd der Obama blir skutt for å redde CZ. 7. juni 2023 (rundt kl. 16:35 CT) la RedKev ut en hånlig nyhetstråd om et forsøk på livet til Binance-grunnlegger CZ. I den “started flying towards CZ, but our hero was there just in time. He jumped in front of CZ, shielding him” . “Outcome” -innlegget sier at overfallsmennene "hadde savnet CZ og truffet den fremtidige presidenten i Nigeria , Bitcoin Obama " [1] , og at “CZ rushed to help and held Bitcoin Obama in his arms when he uttered 'harrypotterobamasonic10inu to 1B MC' before passing out” . “Aftermath” -innlegget sier at Obama “is expected to make a full recovery” [2] og at CZ “said he would do anything he could to help $Bitcoin” .

2023: “Bitcoin Obama is taking over the world”
I de første månedene heiet RedKev Obama frem. Han fortalte en nigeriansk nyhetskonto “Bitcoin Obama would never let this happen, time for a change” [3] , og skrev “It's beautiful, Bitcoin obama is taking over the world” [4] . 23. juli 2023 tagget Obama ham, sammen med andre artister, i et innlegg som kalte en NFT “best NFT of the world” [5] . 2024 og 2025: Bitcoin Obama 2.0
Som svar på Bitcoin Obama 2.0 skrev han “Bitcoin Obama 2.0 cookin 👨🍳” [8] (august 2024) og “Bitcoin Obama 2.0 undertaker wasn't on my bingo card” [9] (februar 2025). Vitsene hans ble tørrere. Han skrev at “bitcoin obama has only ever devved rugs bro” [10] , at “barack and Michelle are the heroes, bitcoin obama is the villian last I heard” [11] (spurte om et prosjekt ville inneholde Bitcoin Obama eller den ekte), at “using bitcoin obama to promote is the worse thing you could've done” [12] , og “im really glad we are phasing out irl bitcoin obama for sora bitcoin obama” [13] .
2026
Obamas svar fra 2026 i trådene hans er korte og transaksjonelle: “Poor team” (mai), “No until get paid” [14] (juni), og, i september, at han hadde “waiting for you in telegram” [15] i “almost 9 hours in market” .
